I tried a similar approach to the vacuuming - with the same results. The best I got was the breeze generated by the dogs' tails creating huge dust bunnies. Not sure if that was a good thing or not.

This modern age--no manners. No upbringing.

(Stamping cane, raving, chewing rug...that eeeuw, needs vacuuming v. v. badly...)

Yeah, that tactic isn't working too well on all of the dishes piled in the sink either. Silly dwellings, not cleaning up after themselves...

When you figure out how to make that work, I want a translator that works on yards. I keep asking the weeds to pull themselves and ... nothing. In fact, I suspect them of growing just to spite me.

Will have to try that tactic.

*looks hopefully at huge mess that is supposed to be a bedroom*

I quote the lyrical brilliance of They Might Be Giants:

"The rain falls down without my help, I'm afraid,
and my lawn gets wet, though I withheld my consent."

What? Rooms not cleaning themselves up? And they call this the 21st century!
