I don't think anything is going to happen to LJ. I mean, it *could*. But I don't think it will. I'm optimistic like that.


If I'm wrong, though, I'll be setting up shop back at merriehaskell.com, and will probably eschew non-self-hosted journaling for the rest of my life. I would hope that those of you who miss me would come find me there and let me know where you reside online thereafter, but if it was meant to be, we'll find each other, okay? I have great faith in my Google-fu, and even more in Google Reader.

I do have an account--very unused--under fairmer at journalfen.net, and I imagine I'd get one for commenting wherever the bulk of you ended up, not that I think that there will be ending up. I'm also fairmer on Twitter, though I confess, unless you're someone I would normally IM with, I probably won't follow you, and you may not want to follow me, since I treat Twitter like a semi-formal chatroom, more or less. Bad etiquette? Perhaps.

But also! I'm Merrie Haskell Fuller on Facebook. So, Facebook me. It's not a journal, but status updates are kind of fun, on a Twitter level, and I can beat anyone except my husband at WordTwist and WordChallenge (so far, anyway). I'm over Scrabble. I don't play most of the Facebook games anymore otherwise, like giving plants and throwing cows...

I think that's it, in terms of meaningful social media connections. I rarely look at MySpace.


Shoot. I meant to be getting into bed by now. Still so much to do... We're hitting the gym hard tomorrow, and I have a post office run pending, and I wanted to send out the Ophelia story again.... There's never enough time. And ConFusion is coming up!

Also... anyone need a roommate for Anticipation? I'm not committing to anything just yet since I haven't fully decided to go, but consider this me putting out feelers. Also, I think I'm going to drive in from Michigan. Ten hours is no biggie in summer, and I want to see some of Canada.
